Actually, I am writing this post because I had faced these types of problem. Many time I searched for disable Windows 10 automatic updates and finally I got this way to stop the automatic update. In Windows 7 & 10 you will face many difficulties while disabling automatic updates but here I am giving you a smart way to sort out this problem.
If you are using different os then you don’t need to follow the below steps:
How to Permanently Stop Windows 10 Automatic Updates
- First Open your Pc/laptop and Go to the Manage.
- Then click on Services and Applications > Services.
- Now make a twice click on Windows Update and you need to Select Properties.
- In General, Tab, Set the Startup type as Disable as showing in the screenshot.
- Then Click on the Ok button to save the setting.
How to Stop Automatic Updates in Windows 7
- First, click on the Window button and Goto Control Panel or search for window update.
- Go to System and Security.
- Now Goto Windows Update > Select Change Setting.
- Finally, Set Never check for updates (not recommended) from the dropdown.
- Click on Ok button and setting have been saved.
Note: If you are facing any difficulty to stop windows update in any os then comment below. We strongly suggest to you that use the only original window.
